5.0 from 200+ Google reviews

We fix the pipe without digging up your driveway, your lawn or your canal-front landscaping. In a suburb where half the blocks back onto water, that's not a nice-to-have. It's the only way to get the job done without wrecking everything around it.

No-dig repair

Why this happens in Biggera Waters

Biggera Waters grew up around Biggera Creek and the Broadwater, so canal frontages, jetties and pontoons are just how most blocks are built here. A lot of the suburb's housing stock also dates from the development boom of the 1970s and 80s, sitting alongside newer builds on the same canal-front streets. That mix matters for pipes:

  • Older sections still run original earthenware or clay drainage, which is exactly the pipe type most prone to root intrusion and joint failure decades on
  • Canal-front blocks are usually landscaped hard - retaining walls, paving, established gardens right to the water's edge - so a dig-up job doesn't just cost more, it can mean rebuilding structure you can't easily replace
  • Proximity to the Broadwater means higher water tables and reactive soil close to the canal edge, which puts extra movement stress on ageing pipe joints over time
  • Where pipe runs sit near jetty or pontoon footings, conventional excavation isn't just expensive - it's often impractical without disturbing the structure itself

Pipe Relining Biggera Waters
What we get called to

What we fix in Biggera Waters

Cracked, root-affected and off-grade sewer and stormwater pipes under driveways, courtyards and side access
Collapsed or displaced earthenware and clay pipework in older sections of the suburb
Pipe runs under pool surrounds, retaining walls and paved canal-front entertaining areas
Recurring blockages that turn out to be a structural pipe fault, not just a clog
Pipework running under or near jetty and pontoon footings, where access is tightest
Start to finish

What actually happens on the job

1

Camera inspection first

Nothing gets quoted off a guess. The camera shows exactly where the damage is, how long it runs, and whether the pipe is a candidate for lining at all.

2

High-pressure jetting

The line is cleared of roots, scale and buildup so the liner has a clean surface to bond to.

3

Liner goes in through the existing access point

A resin liner is fed in, inflated against the pipe wall and cured in place - no trench, no torn-up paving, no disturbed retaining walls.

4

Second camera pass

We verify the liner has cured cleanly with no gaps or wrinkles before calling the job done.

Before you book

What it costs

There's no single price for pipe relining because every property is different. Cost depends on the pipe's diameter and length, how many bends are in the run, how the damage was accessed for inspection, and how much of the pipe actually needs lining versus spot repair. On canal-front blocks, access around retaining walls, jetties and established landscaping can also factor in.

We camera the pipe first, then give you an upfront, fixed price before any work starts - never a phone quote, never a surprise invoice. There's $0 call-out fee to have us come and camera the pipe, and the cured liner is rated for around fifty years of service life.

Before you book

Questions we get asked

Is pipe relining worth it?

For most damaged sewer or stormwater pipes, yes. A cured resin liner is rated at around fifty years of service life and forms a continuous, joint-free sleeve inside the old pipe, exactly the sort roots can't get into. On a canal-front property, where the alternative is tearing up paving, retaining walls or landscaping to dig a trench, relining usually works out both cheaper and far less disruptive.

What is the pipe relining cost per metre?

We don't quote a flat per-metre rate because it isn't a reliable way to price the job - pipe diameter, number of bends, depth, access, and the extent of the damage all move the number. We camera the pipe first so the quote reflects your actual pipe, then give you one upfront price before any work starts.

Can you reline under a concrete driveway or paved courtyard?

Yes. That's most of what we do here. The liner goes in through an existing access point and cures in place, so the driveway, the paving and the pool surrounds stay exactly as they are.

Will relining work on the older earthenware pipe common in this area?

In most cases, yes - earthenware and clay pipe are common candidates for relining, provided the pipe hasn't collapsed or shifted out of alignment. The camera inspection tells us whether your specific pipe qualifies.

Matt came to our home was a delight to work with. Excellent workmanship and very courteous. Went above and beyond to assist. He provided us with quotes for various plumbing items, he quickly provided a detailed quote, explained options. He was excellent at commencing work in one area, and double checked water pressure in our area, hot water system and the plumbing items I had purchased. A great tradesman. Thoroughly recommend. Thankyou Matt.

Had an issue with our 16 year old toilet leaking from underneath the pan somewhere. Called Blake & he sent Lachlan out the following morning to diagnose & quote. Lachlan gave us 3 options, which was great. We chose the middle one, which included replacing all the internals, so hopefully we should be OK for another 16 years! Both Blake & Lachlan were great to deal with & Lachlan did a great job - definitely better than the original installation, which looked a bit dodgy! Happy to recommend.

This is the type of plumbing service that everybody wants. They quote before they do the job. They turn up when they say they will. And they're very good at what they do. Good Service - Fair Price - not something you normally say about Plumbers these days. Keep up the great work Blake, Lachie and Raif.

Absolutely amazing service from the moment I got in touch with them, and in particular Blake. I explained to him my issue and he took the time and effort (completely unprompted) in providing steps of how he would tackle the problem. When it came time to actually have the issue physically looked at, Lachie gave me a call and let me know how far away he was; he arrived promptly and on-time, and was able to very quickly diagnose and provide a solution. I was quoted on the spot and not pressured whatsoever to have more things looked at than I needed to, which I very much appreciated. While I've got my fingers crossed to not have any further short-term issues with my property's plumbing, I'd wholeheartedly recommend these guys and gals to anyone willing to listen. I'm sure there are many other great plumbing businesses around the Gold Coast, but for my money I'd much rather support a local family-owned business providing a very honest and transparent service, who also aren't looking to bleed your wallet dry.

Very happy with the service from Genies Plumbing. We had a leaking kitchen tap and Blake was out in a couple of hours. He sourced a new one, came back later in the day and fitted it. He advised his arrival times very efficiently and was friendly and polite. Would certainly recommend him and call on him again when necessary.

Blake and Lachlan assisted us with a very complex realignment. They were brilliant. They took the time to explain everything, kept me updated with any issues that arose, kept on time and impressively on budget. They could not have worked harder to resolve our issues. I was so worried that we would need to crack our slab and have to retile the majority of our house. These boys made a plan and stuck to it. Fabulous outcome!!

From the moment we made the call with our list of to do's - to the moment the boys came and left after the job completion- the entire help was incredible, and the workmanship was thorough and detailed and reasonable". This workmanship advise is Beyond MOST service and help we have experienced over the last few years. Thank you boys! This type of experience is often not the most favourite one for many people, but in this case, what a great time to get everything sorted with an ease of mind and honesty personified. 2 showers 1 bath 1 laundry 1 bathroom sink Thanks again team - we'll see you again. You'll be our first point of call . A++++

I called Blake to help locate a tricky water leak on our acreage property, he quickly identified multiple leaks on both the council and our side of the line and got them all fixed. He kept us informed every step of the way, and was incredibly responsive and professional, and a genuinely nice person. He's also helping put together a storm water system to help manage the water drainage away from the house during storms. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Blake for any plumbing job, big or small.

Had some plumbing work done by Blake from Genies Plumbing — removal of an old water meter and repair/replacement of some leaking pipework. Communication was great from start to finish, he was prompt, friendly, well priced, and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. Really happy with the work. Would definitely recommend and use again.
